University of Sunderland Nigeria Society (USNS) Awards

In 2011, I was presented with an award by the University of Sunderland Nigeria Society (USNS) in recognition of my contribution to educational development in Africa, at an event in which the Acting High Commissioner for Nigeria and other dignitaries including the Vice Chancellor and the Deputy Mayor of Sunderland were present.

 

 

5th Anniversary Celebrations – Book Aid for Africa

BAFA commemorated five years of making a difference in Africa[E1]  at an event that attracted the local media as well as dignitaries from around the country.

 

 

Opening Ceremony of New Warehouse

After years of moving from one storage place to the other, BAFA officially moved into its own warehouse at Unit 8, Lombard Street, Sunderland, from where it now operates. The Opening Ceremony was attended by the Major of Sunderland, Cllr Robert Heron, and the Mayoress, Mrs Juliana Heron; as well as the MP for Sunderland Central, Mrs Julie Elliott and other dignitaries.
